Wedding Photography 2021 / 2022

It has without doubt been a challenging 10 months for everyone, for every reason. I really feel for all those in the wedding photography industry and for engaged couples who have had to postpone weddings. The wedding venues and hotels have taken a huge hit too. We must remain hopeful that things are on the way back slowly and that in a couple of months we will start to see positive movement again.

A unique wedding proposal!

On a massive positive, a gorgeous couple, Mairéad and Shaun have chosen to work with me for their wedding in the Scottish Borders in 2022. Weddings in Scotland are spectacular; the rolling hills, the amazing venues, the weather that makes it so green, the carnival crowd and the desire to party and smile at all costs! So that is definitely something I’m looking forward to.

While we wait to re-arrange weddings there’s also a few engagement shoots that are in the pipeline. A couple of shoots in London and a couple back up in Scotland. Exciting times. You can see a couple of engagement shoots in my gallery.

The Future

Since the rebrand for my wedding photography there has been so much interest in what I am doing. That gives me the confidence that when we have the all clear, the diary will fill up some more. You can see some more of the wedding content I create for couples over on my Instagram.

Towards the end of this year, I will also be bringing in a few more ideas to create some even better content. Wedding photography doesn’t need to just be photographs, we can implement some sound, the slideshows and some magical retro style footage. I am hoping that my fiancé Sinéad will be able to join me on shoots to help with the creativity.

Sinéad, my fiancé helps with the creative side.

You may have seen from my Instagram or Facebook the branded picture boxes that we now offer with any wedding booking. These are so nice, and once packed with your images and your wooden USB stick they will be a great way to remember your wedding day by while you choose the images for your handmade art book!

If we can all weather this storm everything will be ok and the good times will roll again.

Stay safe
